[Wellness Wednesday] Some Wellness Quotes For You

Wellness Wheel from https://www.samhsa.gov/wellness-initiative/eight-dimensions-wellness with text overlay: Wellness Wednesday! https://reclaiminghopewellness.com

Welcome back to Wellness Wednesday! In case you missed the first two weeks, you can find them here  (What Is Wellness?) and here (How’s Your Environmental Wellness?). This week I thought I’d share a few quotes with you that involve some of the different dimensions (Emotional, Environmental, Financial, Intellectual, Occupational, Physical, Social, and Spiritual) of wellness that we talked about earlier. I’ll let you decide which dimensions are addressed and how they apply to your personal wellness….

  1. I am a day late with responding, but better late than never! Thank you Terri for sharing such helpful information regarding wellness. I think we often forget certain aspects about wellness and think it is only a physical thing. There really is so much involved in good and healthy wellness!

    1. Thanks so much Alyssa! I agree that we often forget that wellness is more than just physical and mental health. That’s partly why I chose the quotes I did for yesterday, just to remind us of the other dimensions.😊

      1. I do really appreciate you finding just the right things to say to remind us what is important! You did an amazing job with choosing the perfect quotes! I am beyond impressed with what you are doing Terri!!!

  2. These are great quotations, Terri. Sorry I didn’t get her yesterday. Can’t think of a quotation at this moment, but I certainly have used them to help me along.

  3. I love Wellness Wednesday! These are fantastic quotes, I especially like the reminder of what wellness is as a whole (the first quote) as we can often break things down into parts and not fully appreciate the whole. Thanks for sharing these! 🙂

    1. Thank you so much Caz! I’m glad you liked these…. I tried to mostly pick quotes that don’t immediately make us think of wellness, but that do apply to one of the dimensions, to remind us that all of these different dimensions add up to true wellness. I especially need that reminder sometimes when one dimension is “out of whack.” It helps me realize that whatever is wrong is only one part of my overall wellness.😊

  4. I love your Quotes Terri but can’t think of one to add at present except maybe Eeyore’s quote on friendship and how his friends never leave him behind or expect him to change!

Please tell me what you think!
