WEGO Health Awards Nomination Ribbons with text overlay: Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Actually, that should be FIVE thank you’s! I just have to tell you guys that I was brought to tears yesterday when my friend Caz from Invisibly Me told me that she saw I had five WEGO Health nominations. Imagine my surprise! I am so beyond humbled and honored to have been nominated for these awards!

For those of you who aren’t familiar with WEGO Health,

WEGO Health is a mission-driven company connecting healthcare with the experience, skills and insights of Patient Leaders.

We are the world’s largest network of over 100k Patient Leaders, working across virtually all health conditions and topics. Our network collaborates with pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, agencies, consultancies, startups and all types of organizations across healthcare.

WEGO Health

The WEGO Health Awards were, as their website says, “created to embody the mission of WEGO Health: to empower patient leaders.” It’s a way to “honor, recognize, and celebrate the work of patient advocates, influencers and healthcare collaborators who are helping others and transforming healthcare.”

Is it any wonder I feel so blessed and humbled to have been nominated?

I know two of you who told me you planned to nominate me, but since I’m not sure if you want it to be public knowledge, I won’t mention your names. I will however, say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!

There are so many times in this blogging journey when I’ve been tempted to throw in the towel, but you guys keep me going. I always think that if I can help just one person, I’m fulfilling my purpose.

Would you like to help?

Now that I’ve been nominated, I could use your help. The endorsement period is now open, and I’d love for you to endorse me! It’s easy to do, and if you agree with my nominators, I’d appreciate it if you’d visit my endorsement page and vote for me. You can find it here:

Again, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to my nominators, but also to all of you who make this blogging gig such a wonderful experience! I really do feel that I’ve extended my family through this adventure. You’re all such a blessing to me!

I’d also encourage you to go to the WEGO Health site and do a search for other chronic illness/wellness bloggers you know and endorse them as well. Having your endorsement helps us all know we’re making a positive difference in people’s lives.

Also, if you’ve been nominated, I’d love it if you’d share your endorsement link in the comments to make it easier for us to find and endorse you!

Blessings,

~ Terri

      1. I’m not a technically savy as you, I annouced mine induvidually because I coundn’t remember how to put them all together in one frame. My dementia is not helped by all the stress in the world right now. Any hints?

      2. Oh Mel, I wish I was tech savvy. I just find ways to cheat that allow me to use what little I do know. I’m going to put your link here that goes directly to your nomination page. I just went to WEGO Health and did a search for you, then copied the address in the address bar up top. https://www.wegohealth.com/87797365/awards If you’re wanting to put all your nomination ‘ribbons’ in one post like I did, I just right-clicked on each of them on the endorsement page, chose ‘save as’ and then imported them one by one into my WP post using the block that lets you put several images in one block. I’m sure there’s an easier way, but as you said about yourself, I’m just not really that tech-savvy. If it would help you, I can email you the photos of the ones I downloaded already. Blessings to you sweet friend!

      3. Thank for your help Terri, I’ll work on something to post since we’re half way thru month. I hadn’t really thought about it. I don’t anticipate winning, just being named is enough for me. Getting there is far more work than I’ve done or want to do. Plus if you win you have to meet the other WEGO commitments, I’m not qualified for. It’s great for the ego and let’s me know I’ve touched someone. Have a great day.

      4. I’m with you 100% Just being nominated is such an honor, and as you said, it helps me know I’m helping someone. That’s the whole reason I do this. I know I don’t have any chance at all of winning, and that’s perfectly okay. This DID give me a chance to thank all of you who mean so much to me though! I hope you have a wonderful day as well!

      5. Thank everyone is the point, I need to work on a consolidated post to make it easier than reposting each nomination. What do you think of my new theme? Is it to boring? I love your colors and your logo.

      6. I love it! I don’t think it’s boring at all. In fact, it’s the kind of blog I like to visit because it’s clean and has nice, relaxing colors. I think it looks fabulous! And thanks for your kind words about mine. I had someone design my logo for me when I first started, and I just set my color scheme to go along with it.

      7. I actually got a guy who worked at my church a few years ago to do it. I’m not sure what the going rate is for logos, but I know there are lots of places that do them now. Best of luck if you decide to have one done!

      8. WP has a company they work with but I didn’t find anything I liked so I didn’t go all the way to pricing. It’s still something I wan to do. Another step in the direction of my blog. A more professional look. I took your advice and put together a WEGO post. 🙂

    1. Thank you so much Bar, and I agree that it IS thrilling just to be nominated! I voted for you too. I’d love for you to share your link here so others can go and endorse you as well. Hugs!

    1. Thank you so much Caz! You have no idea how surprised I was. I don’t think I even said thank you because I was so shocked…. I’ve already endorsed you too, but I’d love it if you’d drop your endorsement link here so others can pop over and vote for you! Hugs!!!
